It was love at first sight when I took my three children to an
alpaca exhibition in Longmont, Colorado. My husband, John, and I
had just sold our business and were looking to move away from
Denver to a smaller city with less crime, pollution and traffic.
We chose to begin our alpaca farm in the beautiful Ozarks of
Northwest Arkansas in March of 2001. With the lovely green
grass, hills and nice climate it was the perfect place to raise
our family and alpacas together!
Now, after five years in the alpaca business we are just as
excited about the industry as we were when we started. We’ve
worked hard to create one of the highest quality "small" alpaca
herds in the region with a foundation herd of fifteen females,
along with several exceptional herd sires. We also specialize in
bringing buyers and sellers together. If we don't have exactly
what you're looking for we are very connected in the alpaca
community and can put you together with the right animal.
Customer Service is very important to us. My customers always
have my cell phone and I am available anytime for emergencies.
Any female purchased from Masterpiece Alpacas comes with half
price breedings as long as they own the animal. Additionally, we
offer several outstanding seminars a year. We bring in some of
