WHY ALPACAS?
Introduction to Alpacas. 

April 28 - 29, 2007

For those new to the industry or exploring the alpaca business this is an essential class. This course covers basic financial and tax issues, alpaca care (herd health, immunizations, worming, etc), alpaca selection criteria, barn layout and fencing, marketing, overview of the alpaca industry, start-up needs and expenses and hands-on training. Everything you need to know before you purchase and more.  Each person/couple will receive a notebook of critical information.

This course will be taught by Diana Timmerman, AOBA and International Judge and Trainer and hosted by Tamara Giudice, Masterpiece Alpacas, 1035 Hatcher Rd., Springdale, AR  72764.

Cost: $200/person or $250/couple

Price includes continental breakfast and lunch each day.  9:00 am – 5:00 pm each day
