Royal Chocolate Fudge - Looking for a blue ribbon
winner that begets blue ribbon winning crias? This gentle,
yet imposing male comes from such notable names as Ghengis
Khan and Spring Snow (parentage of General Schwartzkopf),
NWA Senator Taft, and Peruvian King (known as the King of
Color). "Royalty" as we call him, has won blue ribbons in
halter classes at the 2001 and 2003 Eastern States
Exposition and at the 2002 North American Alpacas Show. He
also won a second place ribbon at the 2003 MAPACA Jubillee
in halter class. The judge at the 2003 Eastern States
Exposition remarked to the crowd that this is the kind of
herdsire that you want in your breeding program. His regal
bearing, coverage, density, crimp, and luster, set him
apart. Dr. Julio Sumar remarked in the ring that Royalty had
fleece denser and crimpier than the second place male which
later sold for $32,000.
His first cria, Barbra Ann, has inherited his wonderful
qualities. His second cria, out of a medium fawn female is
curly black! Stunning.
He has 9 crias on the ground, all of dark colors, even out
of 2 whites.
Price: $12,000
Freedom
Reigns - Wow, can you say bloodlines? Freedom's
includes Bueno, Felix and Hemingway. His fleece
surprised me at shearing. I hadn't really looked at him
since November when it looked OK. Then in April it was
great. It is bundled, crimpy and oh so soft. We are
looking forward to showing him this fall.
Born on the 4th
of July, a son of NWA Ltd Handsome.
Yupanqui's
Masterpiece Finale -
Finale is the
perfect match up of two full Peruvian alpacas that has
held their fineness into old age. Yupanqui had a super
bright fleece with a micron of 24 at twelve years of
age. And Finale's dam, Marcela, has also kept an amazing
fleece. We tested hers this year, at the age of 15, her
micron was 25.7. He has one of the brightest fleeces
I've seen. He has a buttery feel to his dense, heavily
crimped, bundled fleece.
We think Finale has what it takes to become a legend!
We will retain 3 breedings to this incredible male.
VIC
JR.'S MASTERPIECE MAESTRO - D.O.B. 3/17/04 Maestro is
one of a kind! He's out of our herd matriarch Marcela (dam to
herdsires!) and Vic Jr (who's genetics are no longer with us).
He is EXTREMELY FINE from head to toe and the sheen is
abundantly apparent. Check out his micron. He won Reserve Color
Champion at the Oklahoma City State Fair with the judge
commenting on his fineness and great handle.
Micron: 2005: 15.8; 3.3;
20.9; 0.6 2nd Shearing!
